In september 2008 is het precies 60 jaar geleden dat kinderen voor het eerst kinderpostzegels aan de deur verkochten. Tegenwoordig gaan meer dan 200.000 kinderen uit groep 7 en 8 er jaarlijks op uit. In het museum voor communicatie te Den Haag geeft de tentoonstelling een kleurrijk overzicht van de kinderpostzegels en hun ontwerpproces, met werk van bekende kunstenaars, fotografen en illustratoren als Cas Oorthuys, Dick Bruna en Fiep Westendorp.
